In my 23 years, I have only went for facial twice. The first time was with Prive and this time round, with Sccube The Apothecary.
I was really worried at first because there were this blogger who went for sponsored facial and it caused her skin to have a major breakout. So I was being really sceptical and doubtful about the treatment that I’m going for, I don’t think I’m wrong for being so uptight right? Cos I’m a normal woman!
Panic aside, I did do the facial and there was a serious drama. I will talk about it later, because eventually my skin became good after my self-proclaimed trauma.

Of course I was worried as well, worried if the facial would worsen the breakout as I have super sensitive skin…..
I was being brought to my room and I feel so relaxed with the wallpaper and setup.

After extraction I end up with a super red face because of the squeezing, but she assured me that the redness will subside after using some equipment which I don’t know the name! Some radio frequency stuff I guess?
I tell you my heart was beating like mad because my face was so red! But luckily that unknown equipment worked and it didn’t appear as red as it was supposed to be after the whole facial.
Dr. Brandt’s Oxygen Facial is sort of like a equipment roller that inject oxygen into my skin. It’s a very shiok feeling, because it’s like something shooting inside your skin cells!!
I don’t know how many times I repeat to her that my face is damn sensitive, so the professional therapist suggest me to skip the face massage to prevent breakouts.
I thank god for this! If not I will have a bad breakout definitely for sure!
After all the equipments, she applied the Dr. Brandt Detoxygen experience on my face. It was an amazing product because it auto-generate bubbles! You know it’s just a really funny feeling when you felt bubbles on your face building up. Hahaha. So ticklish.. I used my note8 to take photo of my face, so I think you have to really squint your eyes to see the bubbles?

I’ve waited so long for this post to be up because I was monitoring my skin for about 1week or2. I had a minor breakout the next day and I was super worried. I thought more pimples were coming on… It was popping on day 3 too, but only maybe an additional 1 or 2. But I was having PMS, so I really don’t know it’s because of the facial or because of me. But even though I’m popping pimples. MY SKIN IS VERY SOFT AND SMOOTH! So can you imagine me touching my skin to feel the softness but I will feel bumps here and there, totally stupid.
And from day4 onwards, my pimples were slowly healing, and I got a huge relief. Even though I’m still not sure what causes the pimples. But I still think the facial is super good. Because I can really feel the effect afterward! Really super soft and tender, if only I can eat my own cheeks..
Come to think of it, maybe the product is detoxing my skin too. I do feel cleaner after all the pimples have healed. Do you think it’s worth it having a breakout and getting clear skin afterwards?
