Sometimes I looked at the skin of a baby’s and I thought to myself.. Man why can’t I have their soft and smooth skin? And then I remembered I used to have when I was a baby too.. And whatever happened now?
As we age, our skin deteriorates due to exposure to pollutants, chemicals, oxidation and hormonal changes. And then slowly, we start to have lines, spots, pimples and dry/oily skin.
I am always on a lookout for better skincare products. Even though I might be satisfied with my current skincare, I’m still looking for new and better ones which allow my skin to look and feel better.
I recently received a few products from Recherché Skincare for review.

- Amino Acid Cleansing Mousse
- Revitalising Tonic
- Cell Repair Lift Serum
- Nourishing Skin cream
- Protective Hydrator
Recherché Skincare believes in Skin Purity. They made use of natural plants and herbs to resolve skin issues and returning skin to its original state.
They also believed that pure formulas nurture the skin and help restore the skin to its pure, pristine state hence their products contains no ingredients like synthetic colors, synthetic fragrances, alcohol, parabens, formaldehyde-forming preservatives, and silicones.
This makes me very excited to try them out! But product details first!
Amino Acid Cleansing Mousse
Contains Amino acids and olive oil to remove dirt, pollutants and makeup gently and thoroughly. Sweet orange essential oil and lavender essential oil help to relax your senses.
Contains no harsh chemicals or synthetic fragrances and colourants.
How to use?
Use 1 to 2 pumps however if use to remove makeup, use 2 to 3 pumps. Apply on damp skin and massage for 1 to 2 minutes in circular motions. Rinse throughly with lukewarm water. Pat dry and apply your day or night skincare as usual.
Revitalising Tonic
100% fragrance and alcohol-free for all skin types. A special amino acid complex balances skin’s natural pH level and rehydrates skin. Also gently refines skin texture with flower and fruit essences.
How to use?
Every morning and evening, after cleansing with the Cleansing Mousse. Soak a cotton pad with the Tonic and smooth it over cleansed face and neck.
Nourishing Skin Cream
Bio-engineered actives regenerate the appearance of skin. Hyaluronic acid, Vitamin E and Natural Moisturising Factors strengthen and hydrate skin deeply with an exclusive nano technology delivery system.
This system makes sure that all these fine ingredients go straight into your skin’s deeper layers where it matters most. It will make our skin looks plump and feel soft and velvety.
How to use?
To be used after the Revitalising tonic, smooth a small amount over face and neck.
Cell Repair Lift Serum
Peptides and antioxidant-rich botanicals diminish the appearance of wrinkles and restore skin’s youthful appearance. Essential amino acids and copper re-energise cells and help skin produce fresh collagen and elastin.
How to use?
Used after the Nourishing Skin cream.
Protective Hydrator
A holistic day protector for our skin. More than just shielding it from UVA and UVB rays, it also protects our skin from InfraRed radiation and blue light, while preventing skin damage from exposure to pollutants and free radicals.
How to use?
This is to apply every morning as a final step to our skincare routine.
I’ve been using the Cleansing mousse and Nourishing Cream for sometime now. Will be slowly introducing the rest of the products because I want my skin to get use to the products first.
Face felt clean and refreshed after using the Cleansing Mousse and I love how the Nourishing Cream is not heavy nor oily at all. My skin absorbs the cream pretty fast and I can apply my foundation almost immediately after the application.
