I wanted to blog about this months ago but I was too lazy to transfer the photos to my computer but here I am, finally sharing!
Alright so if you stalk me closely enough, you should know that I’ve been pretty lucky this year. Not sure if my new house is lucky or I am just lucky but I’ve won a few contests/lucky draw to date:

Hoping to win more of course but I haven’t been joining any contests lately. Life has been super busy, I don’t have time for personal things anymore. With travelling coming up and all, it’s even harder for me to just R&R at home. I shouldn’t be complaining because busy is a good thing for me too.
Back to the topic. Out of all the things I’ve won, I think the most unexpected one was the Hotel Jen JB 2 nights stay! I won this from the superlife affair x hotel jen tanglin giveaway contest. Even had to travel down to Hotel Jen Tanglin to collect my goodies. There were 2 winners but only one of us can have the staycation voucher!
I was late that day and all I thought was damn I won’t have the voucher for sure. What a wasted trip! But when I got the paper bag and saw that letter I was so shocked and EXCITED! I am so lucky right!? LOL!
I haven’t decide when to go to JB by the way. Maybe January or february since the validity is until March 2017. 😀
The paper bag also contains goodies like,

Hook Coffee has pretty interesting flavours (dark chocolate fruit tarts, meyer lemon meringue pie and black forest cake). We only tried the dark chocolate fruit tarts and it was so-so only.

Since I am talking about Hotel Jen Tanglin, I might as well show you some pictures of the place too.
A few weeks later we went back to Hotel Jen Tanglin again for our friend’s wedding dinner.
This is when I really explore the hotel…

The food there were pretty good too. This is the Menu of the night:
-Premier Combination (Roast Pork) Mini Octupus in Sesame chilli sauce, Prawn Katafi, crispy almond chicken, jellyfish salad in sesame chilli sauce.
-Eight treasure soup (Fish maw, abalone, conpoy, crabmeat, bamboo pith, chinese mushroom, golden mushroom and black fungus)
-Sauteed prawns with shimeiji mushrooms, gingko nuts and asparagus.
-Pipa duck
-Braised baby abalone and chinese mushroom with seasonal green
-Steamed Soon Hock with superior garlic soya sauce
-Braised ee-fu noodles with golden mushroom and silver sprout
-Mango coulis with pomelo, aloe vera and sago.
Eight treasure soup that taste like shark fin soup, or maybe even better than that.
Sauteed prawn – juicy big and fresh.

Hotel Jen Tanglin is a pretty nice venue for people to hold their wedding celebration, and as for staycation? I’m not too sure. Haven’t stayed there before.
This sums up my post for today and I realized that I actually still have a lucky draw with me. The winner will be announced on 30th November, hope I win that!!! 😀
There are so many things that I am thankful for but now I shall stop here. But I will remember to stay humble because nothing lasts forever. And of course thank you for reading my blog and thank you for returning. 😀
