I got to admit that I get bored easily. And I get motivated and excited when I start on something new or whatever it is. Food? Not so. But I still love trying new restaurants every now and then.
Before eGrill and Piza/Pizza, it was either a ramen or sushi restaurant. When we realized it had changed into a ‘pizza place’ we go WOW SOMETHING NEW HAVE TO TRY! But the truth is we got bored of eating at the same old few places already..
We were thinking if Pizza is okay for lunch until we walked over to the menu displayed just outside the restaurant and we were surprised when we saw ramen on their menu.
Since there are other options, we decided to try out the restaurant, anyway it was $9.80++ for the lunch set only! Consisting a main, a skewer, a side and a drink!
And here’s the menu for your reference!
All of us ordered the ramen set except for Jaq who had the Hawaiian pizza.
There were 3 different ramen, the Spicy Tonkotsu, the Original Tonkotsu and the Sesame Tonkotsu. I remembered taking the Original but I could be having the Spicy one too. Anyway we thought the ramen was not bad but I personally felt that the noodles could be improved a little bit more. Like maybe a little more firm? I don’t know I like firm noodles. Alot.
For our sides, we had the potato salad, breaded button mushroom and gyozas.
And the skewers we ordered tandoori chicken, teriyaki chicken and probably salmon belly too (can’t remember).
And the gyoza!
I really like their skewers. I think it’s grilled to perfection. I had my teriyaki chicken, safe choice and it was very tender and nice. My ex colleagues had good reviews on the other skewers too so I believe the skewers are definitely the must try!
And here’s the Hawaiian Pizza, thin crust and slightly charred. If I had known it would be charred I would have order this! Looks really good right?
Overall I am quite happy with the place. Cozy place plus comfort food. Great place to have lunch with your colleagues.
Go give them a visit!
