Staycation – Park Royal Collection Pickering Junior Suite

Back in March this year, we went for a stay at Park Royal Collection Pickering. I’m not sure whether it is just us, but I feel that everyone’s splurging more on staycations since we all can’t travel due to the covid19 situation.

Likewise, I am spending more on staycations more than I should.. especially this year on 2 junior suites – one at Park Royal and the other at Sofitel Singapore Hotels & Resorts.

I am blessed that I am able to spend more now compared to a few years ago, and I will continue to work hard, to invest, to save and not take any of this for granted. It is also funny that we are paying for this space and not updating it hence I will make it a point to update as frequently as I can.

So back to the staycation! It was for our anniversary/valentine’s day celebration.

Ordered masala chicken as I was craving for it.

It was not what I’d expected. I would prefer it to be more flavorful than just sweet. Don’t you just love room service?

Our initial plan was to head to Shukuu Izakaya but we ate too much at the club lounge and hence we decided to just take a walk at the nearby mall, which is Chinatown point. Had my gelish removed at one of the nail salons there and it was a bad experience. :/

Very amazed by the lights function, you can change the mode to night while soaking in the tub but I thought it was abit dangerous lol – to fall asleep in the tub.

Breakfast was at Hong Lim food center as we didn’t book the room with breakfast.. sleep is more important haha.
Hainanese curry rice and lor mee
Bought ming jiang kueh from Granny’s pancakes at Hong Lim market & food center and it was good!
not to forget this. Go hawker center eat must drink sugarcane drink!

Overall the Junior Suite in Parkroyal Pickering is really ‘swee’ and definitely ranked among the top few on my favorite hotels to stay in Singapore. I will come back again for sure! after trying more hotels in Singapore :p
