Bah Kut Teh hunt. I love Bah Kut Teh, so does Sebas. We were craving for BKT that day and he found a place online which was relatively popular. 
Rong Cheng Bak Kut Teh 榕城(新民路)肉骨茶 at Midview City. We took awhile before finding this place.
There were nobody inside but we decided to go in anyway since the price was reasonable. 
There were news articles about them too! We were so excited! 
The youtiaos and peanuts were served first! 
I think Sebas ordered the Signature Dragon Pork Rib soup and both Simon and me the normal pork rib soup. As Ivy doesn’t like BKT, she ordered Kung Pao chicken rice.
We also ordered Braised Pig’s trotter, omelette and kang kong! 
Yay feasting! We were so hungry that day as we went hiking in the morning at Bukit timah hill. The best part of BKT is the soup and I can’t wait to try it!
But right after we drink the soup, we all looked at each other because it was so bland. Can’t taste the herbal and pepper taste. 🙁 Not sure if it’s supposed to be like that? We were disappointed because we like strong herbal and pepper taste. sigh..
The kung pao chicken on the other hand was not too bad though. And the youtiao and the peanut was VERY good. LOL. especially the youtiao! Very fresh and crispy! 
The omelette was too oily.
We weren’t satisfied so we decided to try their soya bean curd. We all agree that it’s hard for beancurd to go wrong LOL.
and good choice! The soya beancurd was so smooth, light and nice! 
It’s really better than those popular ones that I’ve tried before. 
After our lunch we went to Bishan Park for a walk. Fun day again!
Sebas said there is a very nice BKT shop at Balestier, I want to go try next time! Since I work so near there now!
