Sharing some products that I’ve been trying lately with you today. As usual, I have the good ones and also the bad. Of course, It’s just like humans isn’t it?
From the right to the left:
- Hada Labo Makeup Remover Gel
- Hada Labo Aqua UV Day Emulsion SPF50/PA++
- Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion
- Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
- BSoul Hydralip
First: bSoul Hydra-lip Cream
Hydra-lip is a cream that is rich in natural functional ingredients. It improves moisturizing from the first application and enhances the volume and the definition of the lips.
bSoul is the first eco-friendly phytoceutical cosmetic line rich in certified active principles. From nature, the performance of a natural but ingredient-rich line, which gives the best to the skin, while respecting the skin and the environment: both of them are a heritage to protect. This is the reason behind the decision to exclude the use of parabens, silicones, petrolatum, paraffin, SLES and of course no testing on animals.
bSoul skin care is also certified by ICEA (Environmental and Ethical Certification Institute), this is definitely a very safe and ethical product. 🙂
Usage: Apply the cream on the lips throughout the day (under or over lipstick) and massage until completely absorbed.
Note: If you have been using a lot of lip products made with synthetic ingredients, during the initial stage of using Hydra-Lip, you will find flakes coming off as you massage the cream into your lips. It is normal as those could be the “dead skin” or even those silicones that other products contain.
Review: On the first few times I applied, I did find flakes coming off my lips. Lips became softer and smoother and the feeling is amazing. It’s like getting new skin on the lips! Who doesn’t want soft and healthy lips? The only thing that bothers me is that the product can be a little oily.
Other than the lips, you can also apply this on your nail cuticle!! It will help to remove the dead skin cells but of course keep the tip clean! You don’t want to contaminate the product.
If you’re interested in getting the Hydra-Lip, it is retailing at SGD$52. Check out this product on their website: http://www.meditrina.com.sg/detail.php?ProductID=993
Additionally, for online members, every $10 you spend accumulate 1 credit point. And every 1 credit point can offset $1 off your future purchases!
2nd: Hada Labo Makeup Remover Gel.
I was testing out different makeup remover and oil because I wanted to find one that is right. I did find a few that I really liked but this remover gel from Hada Labo, sadly is not the one for me.
The product is very heavy on the skin and I felt ultra greasy after using.
3rd: Hada Labo Aqua UV Day Emulsion SPF50/PA++
I was at John Little and I overheard a lady exclaiming to her friend how good this product is. The words she used were, very good, you can’t feel anything, very light and high SPF.
I got excited and bought one for myself! I have been using it for 2 months now and it is quite a good product. Light weight, acceptable coverage but I don’t really like the scent of it.
4th: Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion
You either love Hada Labo or hate it, I don’t exactly hate it but I don’t really like this product too. It is moisturizing, yes. but too heavy on the skin.
5th: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
Another Micellar Cleansing water on board! I love Garnier and so I finally tried out the Micellar Cleansing water. This guy is awesome. Can fight with the one from MKup. Removes makeup easily and not harsh to the skin at all.
Other than the 5, I also went to Innisfree, bought some masks and the highly raved Wine Peeling Jelly Softener with red wine and green complex.
I really really really love the smell, but unfortunately the product does not work on me. I used once and my skin became so dry and break out a little. :/ Guess I can’t enjoy this.
My essentials now are the Glow Black Mask and Burt Bee’s Peach and Willow Bark Scrub. I will share this 2 with you soon!
Claire just loves trying new products and sharing with you! Hope you enjoy this short post!
Till the next time then! 😀
