Mylife: 23rd April to 6th May: Steamboat session at home, went Camping and So Pho delivery for lunch at work!

Hi all. Welcome to another update of my life. I know I’m really late. So I’m going to combine the last 2 weeks in 1 post.

Recently I’m also making some changes to my current schedule, like for example stop wasting time on certain things, and to only blog about things that I really like and want to share.

I will continue with my weekly life update but I’m gonna just share things that I think should be shared with you all. Like for example things that are new and interesting and not just some random everyday boliao things.

Better hor? Ya I think so too. So lets start with April 23rd!

Today I had my usual fish soup for lunch and for dinner I was craving for savory food. So I stopped at Compass One while I was on my way home and bought myself Mee Sua from Shilin.

And this is also where I found out that they have this new item – Royal Cheese Potato. It reminded me of the night markets in Taiwan and I was like OMG I need to go on a food trip in June! I know I wasn’t suppose to travel anymore but it’s my birthday and I’m embarking on my new journey soon so I thought I might as well take a short break and go for a holiday before I start my crazy journey.

IMG_8167IMG_8169I usually just eat the meesua and not the oysters.

IMG_8171And Simon had Assam Laksa for dinner.

24th April, Tuesday

IMG_8186I really want to go on a diet but I can’t resist charsiew and roasted duck noodles today. :p Look at those meat. I can’t…

And I’m not supposed to eat so much as I have a meeting that night. I usually skipped my workout if I have meeting that day, this probably explains why I’m getting fatter.

After this sinful meal I even bought myself a chocolate donut and 5 mini donuts. When I start to binge like that I know it’s either I’m really stress or my period is really coming…

IMG_8191And guess what? The hubby also bought donut! Hahahhaa.

IMG_8196The donut from Breadline Bakery is the bomb. It’s super good!

IMG_8198The tapioca cake that Simon bought for me to try.

IMG_8201And spicy nuggets for my dinner.

Today I received a letter from CPF asking me to contribute to my medisave. I am not self employed YET leh CPF. I also haven’t call them up, damn I have to, soon.

25th April, Wednesday

IMG_8205N sent me the above article the day before and I was like man, I need to follow this. Gonna start controlling more than before. I don’t want to touch my savings man..

IMG_8214This cute cat is always walking around my office building. I wonder who is he/she waiting for.

26th April, Thursday

IMG_8254Today I had Yong Tau Foo for lunch and dinner was at Saybons! Also bought a cinnamon sugar pretzel from Auntie Anne’s. :p

IMG_8256I love the seafood bisque but it’s so expensive man.

IMG_8258Simon ordered the full works and I doubt he would be full from this. But he said once in a while need to eat lesser. LOL.

IMG_8259The awesome soup.

IMG_8262Simon also tissue wrapped a biscuit for me like how I always do wahahha!

I also got bread from breadtalk for the next day as I have to wake up at 415am.

IMG_8266IMG_8267Are you a fan of sakura flavoured food?

27th April, Friday

This was my last time running the EE already! And I was so happy!

IMG_8270IMG_8271Ordered So Pho for lunch and it was awesome! You should try So Pho for your company events!

IMG_8273Tonight is also the night I’m finally meeting Nicole and XY! We are having steamboat session at my place and followed by Netflix! Gonna go camping in June also! Still confirming haha.

IMG_8281And of course I don’t have the time to prepare the soup base, so Hai Di lao is the savior! I actually wanted the tomato flavour one but I can’t find it at Fairprice Seletar mall so I got the mala one instead.

Who knows the Sheng Shiong downstairs actually got the tomato flavour one. -_-

IMG_8282Grocery shopping before the dinner!

IMG_8283Yakun also got new things! For Mothers’ Day! Royal velvet soup!

IMG_8284And by the way these ring rolls from Sheng Shiong are the bomb. You have to buy this whenever you have steamboat session! I’m inviting J D and WP to my house soon for steamboat wahahha!

IMG_8328IMG_8331and finally eating our mochi that we bought in April from Japan!

IMG_8335Not too bad! It’s sweet one!

And because I really want to try the tomato base we had another round of steamboat today wahaha! Steamboat really can make one fat.

IMG_8337April 30th, Monday

I went back to Yishun to visit my Ahma and to give allowance!

IMG_8349Bought nasi lemak from Crave for her and I think I ate like almost half of it??

IMG_8352I myself already had a salmon salad and squid otah! And by the way why the otah from Crave so expensive sia? $2 eh. Or is it the normal price? lol

IMG_8353And then I saw that she actually cooked dinner so I helped myself to the lala. So spicy!

IMG_8354IMG_8355$2!

IMG_8357Went to Yishun interchange and wanted to get some bread from this shop but I think there is already bread at home so I just took a pic to remind myself to get next time.

IMG_8360

Also grab some stuffs from Ahma’s place and found this DIY photo box that Simon made for me years ago! Damn effort.

1st May Tuesday: – Watched Avengers, the infinity war! Shiok!

2nd May Wednesday:  Back to work and went to Wine Connection to meet my new bosses.

3rd May Thursday: MC – too much alcohol = headache. And I think I already max out my MC for this year. Holy..

IMG_8392IMG_8395There’s a new stall at the kopitiam at our estate and Simon bought the laksa to try. Not too bad but not spicy and I think they put too much coconut milk.

Then I went to see doctor at Renjong and bought rojak for dinner. 😡

IMG_8396IMG_8400HAPPY!

4th May, TGIF

IMG_8473I forgot to bring my umbrella out to lunch and it started raining heavily. So I went to value shop to get myself an umbrella. Guess how much is it? 4 bucks only! Hahaha. But actually the one I bought from Shopee, erm I should say is Simon used my money to buy for me HAHAHA. Purposely one this guy cos I hate umbrellas and it was $3.50 only.

IMG_8474and I bought donut from breadline bakery AGAIN.

Ate it before I went to NUH and when I reached NUS MD6, I got 2 sardine puffs, one for Simon and one for myself.

IMG_8476IMG_8483That day when I reached home, I saw that Simon got me donut too! haha.

IMG_8485For dinner I had veggies and egg and he got himself hokkien mee which obviously I had a share too.

IMG_8487Then we tried out this blue color beer which I think he will blog about it soon.

5th May, Saturday

IMG_8506Drop off my clothes at Refash!

It’s like you can find this Mini KTV everywhere now. I still prefer the room one though.

IMG_8507Then we had itacho sushi for dinner and after that we went to Muji to get t shirts.

IMG_8518IMG_8520we are just having fun here. :p

IMG_8521Check out Muji Cafe and thought The Pork Katsu Donburi looks good! Shall try it next time!

IMG_8522I also tried on this pair of flats but it was painful so I didn’t buy it.  By the way Muji in Hong Kong is cheaper than here leh!
