Mylife: 6th to 13th May, Mos Burger New Pasta Burger, Bali Thai and this mugging week!

I was really really really tired the whole of this week. Working, blogging, creating, editing and now studying! My first paper is on 28th May and I just can’t wait to get it over and done with. Actually I find the contents really interesting. People said it’s dry af but I thought it was okay. I really love learning new things by the way it makes me so happy!

The calculation part is abit nasty though but well I managed to figure it out on Sunday already so yay!

7 May 2018, Monday

Ordered tom yam ban mian and I finished the soup. Can you believe that I actually finish the whole bowl of noodles and soup? Well I did ask for lesser noodles but still! And for the record, I don’t usually finish my food unless it is really really good.
This is at whampoa market and the stall if I’m not wrong is called the lai lai shou gong mian.

Then that night I had Mos Burger and Simon ordered the Beef Bolognese Pasta Burger to try!

I thought it was nice but the whole burger was like super wobbly.

Go try it out for yourself!

8th May 2018, Tuesday

Met my new Ms at Mcdonald today and I had chicken salad. Super healthy right.

Michelle went to Genting recently and she bought Eureka popcorn for us. I’m abit sad that she didn’t buy the chocolate ones. Well the wasabi flavoured ones were not too bad too. It’s not spicy at all! Definitely good for people who cannot take spices.

Went to get Old Chang Kee after work today because I was so hungry!! And saw that there’s this new Sour cream and onion chicken chunky pops. Wow like damn cool can but I didn’t buy la.

Went back home after that and Simon was like sitting on his new camp chair and chilling like a boss.

We are super into camping lately, and you can read the Part 1 of our camping series here

9th May, Wednesday

Had porridge (feels like MSG loaded) from the usual stall at Whampoa Market today. Gonna start posting pics of these stalls so you all will know where I ordered my food from. I don’t think I will go Whampoa again next time though. Abit far from where I stay.

I ordered mixed pork porridge and the pig liver was really bloody today. Damn!

10th May Thursday

Check ou the view from NHCS, maybe I will work here next time? Hahaha.

I went to 7-11 to get snacks before returning back to the office. Feels like I’m really lepaking recently. =p
Anyway while I was at 7-11, I was so surprised to see these buttered cup corn! Seriously??

Then I went to Kopitiam to buy a piece of mango and it costs me 3 bucks! So expensive!

That night Siti and Narinder treated me to dinner at Bali Thai. It was a really early farewell dinner man hahaha. Anyway this is my first time eating Bali Thai and the food was so good!

We ordered quite alot. Ordered Tauhu Telok – if that’s how you spell it.

Sambal Kailan – surprisingly not too bad.

This mixed platter – Don’t know what is this called but the satay and the prawn cakes were awesome!

Seafood glass noodle – a must order!

and of course, GREEN CURRY.

Had such a great time with them that day. I’m super thankful to have these 2 mentors guiding me for the past 1 year. I can see that Siti is really sad to see me leave but I have to face my future endeavors. I need to do what I have to do.

After dinner we went to Popular and sketchers. Really feel like buying this vintage fan but it’s like super overpriced? $79?? But my study room is really hot man, and I want to save on electricity cost because I always switched on the Aircon when I’m in the room. Anyway see how lah. This month alot of things to spend on leh.

I like the pink sneakers by the way, looks so cute and comfortable!

11 May 2018, Friday

Got my tshirt from Muji and it’s only 14bucks! Simon also got himself a tee and I think we are going to spend alot in Hong Kong :O

Had caifan for lunch and make myself lemon ginger tea in the afternoon. This is from korea and it’s so easy to make!

12th May, Saturday

I spent my whole day studying and then in the afternoon, the tent that I bought for Simon for his birthday came! This is huge man! I can’t wait to go inside! It’s taller than me somemore. SO DAMN FUN!

It’s about $250 I think? I can’t really remember.

Later that night we went to buy vegetables for our ramen hotpot dinner at Sheng Shiong and I shall blog about this soon haha.

I didn’t know hai di lao soup base got mushroom flavour one leh!! I need to try this next time!

DAMN SHIOK DAMN SINFUL! Really getting fatter lor..

13th May, Sunday

Went to Ichiban Sushi for Mother’s Day lunch!

Simon ordered the Mentaiko Udon and I thought the one at Saizeriya tastes better. =x

I had some sushi and chawanmushi only because I was having a really bad tummyache that morning.

After our lunch we went to try out this lame Takara Box vending machine.

We spent $5 to get a passport holder lor! Qi si wo HAHAHA. But okay la quite fun, anything nihon related is worth spending LOL.

I went back home to nap before continue doing my notes but I woke up to eat this taiyaki icecream. The matcha redbean is damn good man. You can get this at Chateraise.

For dinner we had meehoon goreng and bachormee soup. Super sad that Olive Bakery and cai fan stall have already moved out. Even the tze char is moving out soon. 🙁 What’s happening!

Now what are we gonna eat next time???

When I was at Sheng Shiong, I saw this Jack n Jill lobster bisque potato chips and I thought it was weird but you guys thought it would be nice.. we shall see hahaha I might try it soon.

And found this gem.

It was a really fun and tiring week. Now I have to get back to my books.

Thanks alot for reading again! And help me pray that I pass my exam! Thanks! 😀
